Dear Team,

We are facing an issue where PS Projects are not created, even though the exact settings from Production are replicated

Attached is the business Scenario

Following are steps for reoccurring the issue

1) Item Created in SAP PPM

2) While Release of Project , The error was coming as “ Mapped status is not present in the list of allowed statuses”.

3) Following setting has been changed to resolve issue

  1. “Common functions > Decision Flow Management Settings > Check and Maintain Settings for DFM". Start the check for synchronization type "Status" and "Source Grouping": PDCP; "Target Grouping": PPO; Update operation for the corresponding DFM Bus. Transaction”
  2. “Common Functions > Decision Flow Management Settings > Define DFM Object link Types. Open the object link type "0INMITEM" in detail and maintain the destination/webserver”
  3. Although in Production Environment the destination is maintained as None but in Satndbox we maintained the RFC

4) Post making the Above changes the Error wrt “ Mapped status is not present in the list of allowed statuses” not appearing anymore but the new issue now occurred

1) Accounting Tab in cProjects not appearing and the changing the status in Item will now pop up an error "Status Update failed on Target Object"

5) We have changed the original settings not .i.e “Common Functions > Decision Flow Management Settings > Define DFM Object link Types. Open the object link type "0INMITEM" in detail and maintain the destination/webserver as maintained as None thus the initial error “ Mapped status is not present in the list of allowed statuses” is reappeared

We have already referred to the following threads but of no use

Thanks and Regards
