Yes, you can create multiple Y axis is SAP MII.

In the ichart, check Y axis properties , you can see Allow Multiple Y Axis checkbox, You should check that checkbox.

You can specify the ranges accordingly.

Hi Swaroop,

It is possible to do this.

Under the "Y-Axis" screen of i-Chart, you will find a property names "Allow Multiple Y Axis".

Check this check-box.

In the 'Data Series Details' screen, you can then configure the different things for different Y-Axis.

But the catch here is that you can have only as many Y -Axis as you have data points or tags in the data source of the query or data source.e.g. If you have 3 tags in the query of the chart the nyou can have 3 Y-Axis in the chart.

Also have a look at the help documentation:

Hi Rohit,

But are we sure that it's available in xMII (11.5 version)??

Thanks,

Swaroop

Hi Swaroop,

I checked this on 12.0 server and did not find the multiple Y-Axis check-box.

So my guess is that it is also not present in 11.5(I don't have a 11.5 MII server).

Multiple Y-Axis functionality is in 12.1 and later versions.  11.5 and 12.0 do not have it.  Might want to upgrade as 11.5 has been out of maintenance for several years now.

Yeah Michael,

Could make that out. No help with 11.5 version. Hope my client migrate to 14.0 soon 🙂 :-).

Thanks,

Thanks Rohit,

I thought we might have some attribute sets that we can define from the page and get addition axis. But again something that is not provided with 11.5 version.

I am waiting for my client to move over to 14.0 😄

Thanks anyways!!

Swaroop

Technically speaking even since before 11.5 you've been able to have up to 32 Y-Axis, but just only 1 is visible at a time   Selecting the pen in the legend will change the color and scale accordingly.

Thanks Jeremy,

It is indeed a good thought to work around.
