Multiple Scheduling Users in PPM 6.1

Hello Experts,

We have a scenario wherein multiple team leads will execute scheduling tasks ( through Gantt or Date and Work tab) like change dates, duration at the same time in a single PPM project. Can you please advise most efficient way to do it.

Hello Nachiket,

Unfortunately that is also not possible. What is possible it for user to access specific tasks (this can be done by opening the tasks from the "My Tasks" dashboard), when doing so they will only lock the task that they are accessing, so other users will be able to edit other project tasks at the same time. This will enable users to edit values int the task itself, however please note that project scheduling will only be possible when you are accessing (and locking) the whole project.

One more question. Can we have a scenario in which multiple users can log in at Phase level and edit the tasks below phase level.

Dear Nachiket,

it´s not possible that several team leads open the whole project in edit-mode and schedule this at the same time.
