Hi Experts,

is there any possibility (Activity rule) in SAP ME to cover next case in Production:

1. Operator 1 Start Operation 0010 and forget to press Break (Sign Off) after he finish with current shift.

2. Next day Operator 1 is for example on holiday.

3. Operator 2 want to Break same SFC and start it again. In this case next Error appear:

SFC "-" is not in work for User "Operator 2"; only User "Operator 1" may signoff this SFC (Message 13914)

Thank you.

Best regards

Darko

Hi Darko,

This is a common scenario and there are several ways to handle it.

  1. Use SFC Step Status to move the SFC back to In Queue status (Note only superusers should have access to SFC Step Status and know what they are doing)
  2. Configure the resource used at this operation as a Process Resource and this will allow a different operator to sign off the operation.
  3. If you use labor tracking then you can configure Labor Rule Maintenance to automatically sign off all the users SFCs when they clock out. Or if they forget to also clock out then Supervisor Clock In/Out can force it as well.

Hope this helps

I know this is an old thread, but I had an issue setting this behavior to Sign Off. In Supervisor Clock In/Out, I was able to click Labor Off and it seemed to labor off a couple of SFC's.

However, when I clicked Clock Out, it complained that the user was labored on to an SFC with a status of Invalid. The SFC it mentioned was an Inventory Id, not an SFC. To be able to clock this user out, I needed to change the rule to Labor Off, then I could clock them out.
