Hi All,
I have two questions related to Project Currency so need your response. I would appreciate a quick response;
I'd really appreciate a quick response to above questions, Below are the screenshots for reference
In SPRO, Project Profile, you can specify a currency. Here is the F1 from that currency:
WBS currency (project definition)
The system defaults the currency from the project definition as the object currency for each newly created WBS element.
You can change the object currency for a WBS element in the organizational data for the WBS element, provided no costs or payments have been posted yet in the WBS element.
Dependencies
Note the following when you change the object currency for a WBS element:
If the controlling area and company code have the same currency, then you can specify an object currency for the work breakdown structure which is different. This currency becomes the project currency.
If the controlling area and company code have different currencies, the company code currency is the project currency.

In PS the currency is set at the WBS level and not the Project Definition level.
The usual configuration of the WBS to adopt the currency from the assigned Company Code.
You can define configuration where the WBS Currency is different from the assigned Company Code.

Hi!
If you have assigned a number of company codes to a controlling area and the company codes have different currencies, you cannot allocate the object currency. The system automatically uses the local currency of the respective company code.
