Multiple characteristics values for different lengths of LAM data?

Hi,

I have created FLOC, attached linear characteristics to it as LAM, and configured everything including the organizational area. Characteristics are visible in LAM tab as they are assigned to one class and this class has the same organizational area. While assigning characteristics to class I have maintained the same organizational area.
Aslo while creating characteristics I have maintained multiple values.
Problems:
1—If I have assigned characteristics values on the classification tab of floc, then only I can see the characteristics in the below screen of the LAM tab. It copies the same value for a particular segment length.
2- I want the same characteristics but different values for different lengths. For example, commissioning of the transmission line was laid by multiple contractors, I will create one characteristic saying "CONTRACTOR" and I will name all contractors for different lengths in linear data characteristics value

Hi,

For the characteristic definition, check if you have set the value assignment option to "multiple values" in Basic Data tab of the characteristic definition.

I selected multiple values but now I found that I need to select additional values too on the particular characteristics tab. Also I need to add values in characteristics value tab. They can only be selected not types on the Linear data tab
