Missing references while opening Assembly file ECTR

Hi Team,

I have an already created assembly file which I will be Importing to ECTR using the Import feature from Solidworks. Based on the CIDEON document ECTR to solidworks user manual, page 61 and 62, I activate all checkboxes and click on Import. The process is executed as expected and new DIR's are created.

I provide the Assy DIR number to another user and when he tries to open the assembly, he gets the error Missing references and it shows my ECTR session directory path. When he tries to open the child components separately, he can without issues.

I have made the settings to ECTR preferences, the sort string is maintained with C.

The structure / references are getting missed somewhere and I am not able to identify that. Can anyone help here?

Thanks,

Prashanth

Hello Prashanth,

obviously changing the references of the assembly does not work properly. Nevertheless, without additional information like version of the integration, log files etc. it is hard to identify the problem.

I think that this is not the right place to get the appropriate help. Please open an incident on component PLM-ECC-WKS. The support collegues there will help you and, if necessary, will forward your issue direct to the development team.

Best regards!

Stefan
