Missing DTO class entries in hook_point table in SAP ME database

Hello Experts,

Sometimes on SAP ME standard screens like scrap/delete we get error - '

is there any setting required to be made in SAP ME so that correct DTO class can be assigned ?

Hi!

Not sure but sounds as if you set up some Service Extension for SFC Scrap/Delete which is not configured properly. Hard to say more just out of this error.

Currently we have don't any service extension configured for scrap. But just wanted to know how the hook_point table is populated ? is it during ME installation, initial data load at site level or any manual configuration required?

Hi Uday,

Can you describe the Hook Point Configuration that is causing this error? Which Hook Point and which Activity to you have attached to the Hook Point?

HOOK_POINT table is created and populated during ME Installation.
