MII Project Import in 15.1

Hello All,

We are in process of Moving from MII12.1 to MII15.1, we have build new server and need to move MII projects from Old to new,

Question is, Is there any automated way of moving it, I saw migration tool from 11.5 to 12.0, but cant find any thing from 12 onwards .

Our interface design is in way that we have lot of projects defined and importing one by one is going to be painfully long exercise.

I will give a go with that but I have run into another problem which I need to fix first. MY SUM tool interrupted in between, may be I should post that in separate thread.

We have now deployed this using the SUM tool, but I cant find it anywhere on MII portal now.

Can you please guide how to use this one.

Note we have to move data from MII12.1 to MII15.1

I think that info is in the mii upgrade guide somewhere.

HI Swaroop,

Basically as I stated in my original post we were looking for some kind of tool or application through which I can migrate MII projects from MII 12.1 server to MII 15.1 server, the migration tool as suggested by you helps only when the source system is MII 11.5.

Never mind, I ended up developing small .Net application which uploads MII projects as zip files to ease the process.

Hi Rupesh,

I recommend using migration tool as that would check of any incompatibility as well.

You should find it under support software packages of MII 15.0 in market place.
