Migration/Upgrade from MII 12.2 to MII 15.1 SP3 Patch 8

Hi,

We are in the process of upgrading our MII system from 12.2 to 15.1. While testing our apps we are noticing the following issues. 1) Once after opening the application, if I refresh the page then application is keep freezing the IE window. Looks like it is having hard time in executing the applet command (document.appletname.executeCommand()). 2) In the log viewer I am seeing the following errors. - "com.sap.xapps.oee.ejb.exception.OEELocalizedException: User xxx does not have authorization to execute this service; user is trying to perform action read" -ErrorHandler warning: org.xml.sax.SAXParseException; lineNumber: 1; columnNumber: 1; Content is not allowed in prolog.

Did anyone notice these issues during the MII upgrade?

P.S - We are using IE - 11.0.9600.18537 and Java - 6u17

We also have the same problem. We upgraded version 12.2 to 15.1 SP3 patch 4 and 6, and the applets are not working.

I tested with IE11 and JRE 1.6, 1.7 and 1.8, none of them work.

During upgrade, would you not update JAVA too. Customer will stay with 11 year old JRE 1.6 on a new MII 15.

Try the latest version of JRE if that is okay for Customer.

Also try Under control panel -> Java->Security -> Add your site to exception list

On the IE Browser,change document mode settings in browser and test, if that helps.

FYI, We have recently upgraded a customer from MII 12 to 15.
