Migration 11.5 to 12

I am running the migration tool, and have encountered this error

Version 12.0.2 Build(7)

I could not find anything about this in the upgrade guide.

Can anyone advise?

Yes the ID you use is the one for MII not for the server.

Looks like you may have an incorrect username or password. You have to be careful with the migration tool if you type in a wrong pwd for a user it will lock out that user account. As the requests keep on sending to the 12.0 system even if the pwd is incorrect. I would try logging into the system with that username and pwd through the gui to make sure it isn't locked if it is get it unlocke and try again.

By default the Security Migration is disabled you have to check the Security checkbox.

If you are migrating projects I would also recommend you check both Projects and Selected Projects Only.

Thanks for the prompt response. I have logged into the v12 system - the password is still valid.

I was using an AIX id for the migration. Should the ID used be in the xMII_administrator group?
