Measurement Project

Hello,

I am creating a measurement project in CBIHM2, I enter details for a measurement.

I have already assigned measurement method to the agent in specification for the property: Measurement Method under regulation.

In measurement project when I enter Agents details for the work area, it brings the Measurement method for the agent and I check the Agent Is to Be Measured check box also.

But when I enter Measured value for a Measurement  , system issues a warning that Measurement method is not assigned to a agent. When I accept the warning and enter the Measured values and save, system issues a error:

CBMP 358: 'No measurement methods were determined; check the data

Also i when i click on the reference value its not bringing in the value i maintained in the property tree of the agent.

Any idea why it is happening so?

I am on ECC 6.0 without any enhancement pack.

HI John,

first let us discuss, why this measurement method is not updated in the measurement project....even though you maintained in the agent specification.

ensure that you maintained the measurement mentod in collect place holder in the property tree.

This must be under value assignment type - SAP_EHS_1013_060

In the property tree node -  if you press F1 key, you can see the node details in below.

class name would be the same as value assignment type above and the characteristic name is - SAP_EHS_1013_060_METHOD.

This charactestic is picking the values from the table - CCIHC_METHOD.

If you arenot maintained in the above way, may be you are using the wrong node for the same.

Check the config Nodes - for your issues, chance of missing something...

SPRO > Environment, Health & Safety > Industrial Hygiend and Safety > Measure Management > Measurement Projects > Assign display fields to Agent Characteristics.

SPRO > Environment, Health & Safety > Industrial Hygiend and Safety > Measure Management > Measurements > Specify and Assign Measuring device types and Measurement methods.

Secondly - If everything is fine as mentioned above, then you can check the SAP notes available.

1118777  - talks about external number assignment and

990453 - It's only happens, while switching the status.

Thanks for the reply

As said, i checked the configuration settings its maintained as mentioned in your reply.

The note 990453 is mentioning about the error which i am getting right now but our basis team is saying that the particular Note (990453) is not relevant to our current SAP Application as we are using SAP EHP 5.

Also the reference value which i have maintained in the property is not getting reflected in the measurement project screen, do i need to assign any function module to the charactertics .
