ME POD Plugin from Activity Manager and/or MII link

Hello All,

We would like to run the POD Plugin 'CHG_EQUIP_STATUS' from the Activity Manager and/or a link from a MII Dashboard. Is this possible?

Hi Chuck!

POD plugins are not available in Activity Manager, but in PODs only.

As to MII pages, you can try HTML_VIEWER plugin in POD. There is HTML Viewer How-To Guide on help.sap.com/me. Also you can try creating External Link type of activity for MII links, but it is likely not to work well.

Thanks for the clarification regarding the Activity Manager, this is what I expected.

The HTML_VIEWER appears to be functionality for the POD. Regarding the second option with MII, let me explain further that we do not want to run the POD at all. We have an MII Dashboard and we want to have a link that opens CHG_EQUIP_STATUS from it. I am not optimistic but hopeful this is somehow possible.

I see. Then, as alternative, you can only use PAPI to trigger the change to ME but you have to write your own GUI in MII for your end user.
