Material not populating during Financial Planning in SAP CPM workbook.

Hi All,

I am trying to load material in SAP CPM workbook for financial planning, however after clicking SAP PS wbs and resource type (0MAT), no matrial comes in workbook.

Appreciate of some one can help me to get this resolved.

I think I know what you did wrong. If you want to enter data for the Structure element you cannot select the aggregation element you must select the row immediately below it. You can't double click on A9 you have to double click on A10, they are the same structure element but the higher row is the aggregation one.

Have you defined selection criteria for materials like material type, group & plant?

Hi Amit,

from the screenshot it appears to me that you might have selected the the summary line (cell A9). If you want to create new plan line items you have to select a plannable line (either on top level: A10, or on the lower levels A11 or A12)

Are your PS objects really 1,2,3, etc?

Looks like you have DAEMON problems which imports PS objects to CPM. Per what Ravi said you need to schedule those jobs to bring in Activity Types and Materials as resources.

Hi Amit,

Based on screenshot , I am unable to conclusively answer your question. I suggest trying these. If not , I suggest contacting SAP Support.

- possibly you don’t have planning authorization ( check CPM admin guide for additional details on required authorization profiles)

- possibly you haven’t completed config activity mentioned within SPRO > Commercial Project Management > Project cost and revenue planning > periodic tasks

As far as I can see from screenshot, you need to expand the + button on quantity. Did that solve the issue?

Thanks for you reply, no it will not solve.

My problem is I am not able to get any material for resource type (0MAT)-Material after double click WBS and resource type(0MAT).

It do not have to do any thing with quantity.

I need first materiel then I will add quantity.
