Locations in Incident management/EHS

Dear all,

I have two questions about Locations in incident management

I can see in the customizing that I can synchronize with PM Locations. Does this mean Functional Locations or the Logistics Location?

Is there a transaction to crate the Locations manually instead of synchronizing them?

Hi Michail,

regarding your questions:

1. The EHS Locations can be linked to PM Functional Locations and/or PM Equipments (transaction codes IL03 / IE03).
2. Yes, the locations can also be created manually. To do so, a new tile on the SAP Fiori Launchpad can be created with the intent EHSLocation-editLocStr. However, the creation of new locations/changing the structure is not a task which is typically performed by a normal user but by the master data team. Therefore, this tile is not delivered in the Business Roles (e. g. SAP_BR_INDUSTRIAL_HYGIENIST). A good starting point on how to add a custom tile is the search term "SAP Fiori Tile Catalog" / "SAP Fiori Tile Group".
