Linking newly created work orders to existing maint item / PM02

Hi,

I am looking for a way to link a new work order (defect order) to a previous preventative maintenance work order. As an example, a plant inspection may show up 2 new defects. This would then have 2 new work orders inputted into SAP, I would like to reference the previous work order so I can measure how effective the initial plant inspection is/was.
