In a scenario where EHS is running in ECC box and connects to s/4 HANA box where Other Supply chain and logistic process Is running. In this scenario Can we maintain Configuration of EHS in S/4 HANA box if there is no separate License available for EHS. Similarly can we maintain EHS master data in S/4 on the basis of existing EHS ECC license?
What challenges could be expected in such a side car approach?
this is the story which i know
1.) acting as a company you would like to use "SAP ERP", You need a "license" for this
2.) on top: you would like to use "EHS/EHSM"; then you need an additional license
Depending on "license" structure (history of the company acting etc.): in most cases you can then as well use "EHS" even if you have a "SAP S/4 HANA" environment as long as you have a valid "EHS" license. But details you should clarify with SAP direct as the "license" story is quite tricky
