Hi All,
Issue : Latest SDS version content is displayed when we try to open old version SDS.
Analysis:
* For a specification 2 Reports are created with generation variant SDS_CH and EN Language. (SDS v 3 and SDS V 3.1)
* SDS version 3 is created on year 2013 and SDS version 3.1 is created on 06.05.2020 . User made 3.0 historical and released SDS version 3.1 on 06.05.2020 and again user made SDS 3.1 historical on 07.05.2020
* Now both the reports SDS are in historical status.
Problematic scenario :
When user trying to open SDS 3.0 in Report management in that word file SDS 3.1 is opened instead of SDS 3.0.
Kindly provide us a solution why SDS 3.1 is opening when we try to open SDS 3.0.

Suresh

Hi Christoph,
Still the issue is not resolved !! Yet we checked the inputs of ESTDH and ESTOH table everything looks different for Both version 3.1 and 3.0. We use content reporsitory for storing our data therefore we debugged the entire standard process of opening a Report SDS in EHS system for SDS version 3.0 and we found that the document coming from the Content repository is of SDS version 3.1 but we dont know the exact reason why two SDS having same version SDS stored in Content repository.
Kindly Provide you inputs !!!
Regards,
Suresh.

Hello
so ESTDH shows different links to WWI documents but the "link" to the document ot the "document repository" seems to be wrong...
This is now a quite tricky situation..Long ago we have had a "similar" situation; but i can not remember any more if we have used at that point in time a "document repository" (so that document is not stored in "DMS" but outside of SAP)
1.) i would assume that such data/document situations are very rare and very hard to find and identify
2.) so you need first a "DMS" specialist. This person should make sure (or check): is the set up correct (SAP <=> Document repository)
3.) you can/should start OSS dialog; but the "hard" story is: you need to find an approach to make the symptom repeatable; but you should think about OSS dialog
4.) You ahould look for an EHS functional/technical person who is experienced (more than 3 years) which knows how the "value files" are organized for WWI reports in EHS. This person should check the value file of report 1 (version 3.0) amnd report 2 (version 3.1): My assumption would be: if this persons checks the corresponding value file content you will find the expected differrent content (but not sure !)
I wish you the very best for your research
C.B.
