Hi all,
we have just worked on a problem on xMII 12.0 with th JCo Start Session.
When activating the "Pool Connections" flag in the JCo Start Session settings, the connection could not be established, because SAP returns the error "Name or password incorrect". When deactivating the "Pool Connections", then the connection worked just fine, although we have not changed user or password in the SAP Server setting.
What happens to the logon that causes the error when activating the pool connections flag?
Regards
Michael
Request clarification before answering.
The check box works in our case.
An error I have come accross with the Pool is a "Connection Pool exhausted.Connection Pool size exceeded" (Not these exact words but implies this) but never an authentication error.
Try with a different user and check if you observe something different.

Udayan,
I tried out my own user, and it works. The difference is that I am a Dialog user, and the other user is CPIC because it is a technical user. We have different authorization.
First I thought it may be a difference because the technical user was not defined in the UME. However, even after creating the user in UME the connection got the error when "pool connections" was set.
I don't want to put too many examination time into it, because now it works without the pool, but it is interesting that when using my dialog user there seems to be no problem.
