We have a PACR with an item cat of ZEIH with When posting good issue through MII it assigns a "PO" in the item cat in the outbound delivery. When manually packed in SAP it assigns "ZPO". The ZPO is the correct flow to not send the packaging in the ASN to the customer. What would cause the shift in item cat when posting through MII? I do not see anything in the IDOC that would drive the change.

Request clarification before answering.
Generally speaking MII implementations are bespoke so configuration or logic changes in ERP may require some development or configuration changes in MII. Also note that a lot of logic/user exits and enhancements may not be hit when using interfaces like Idocs/RFC/BAPI vs Sap GUI and visa versa. You are probably going to need some hands on help on the MII side to resolve your issue.

Christian

I have to agree with Christian. There are a lot of unanswered questions in your responses which require some MII and some ECC permissions to get answered. Even if you were to get permissions, it would be helpful to have an MII savvy person involved.
If there are custom BAPIs, you need to do a JCOReset in Netweaver so the changes propagate from ECC to MII. If changes are ongoing, then every time a change is made, paste this into your browser window (can do it every day without harm if it is unknown when changes are made).

If you are using internal MII resources (or even if external), then I would ask that you push them to review this Question. There is currently insufficient detail to help you out.
