Hi All
Are there any options on equipment in the eh&S
I have tried all options in EH&S
I could not find option to record equipment results.
for erognomics if I want to maintain the workspace details like monitor hieght,
lllumationion etc .
Request clarification before answering.
Hello,
If I have understood correclty, you want to have certain parameters on which you want to monitor the work space.
In that case I would suggest you to use Questionnaire functionality, through which you can create a sort of check list for the parameters like as you mentioned height , illumination etc , assign it to your workspace (Work area in EHS ) and record its result before working in that work space.

Hi
creating protocol and assigning a quesionaaire partilly works for my requirements.
after getting the answers to questions, the result might turn up saying speical equipment may be required
to attach to the workplace or may be additional aiding equipment need to be given to the person.
say for example a specail chair is required for the person for improving ergonmic condition to reduce discomfort.
1) I suggestion is to change the inclination ( this should be recorded to see next folllow up)
2) entirly brand new chair is to the person, EHS admin should be able to track that chair.
3) where can we specify follow up visit by EHS admin(are there any reports )
Hello,
Based on the result of your questionnaire, you can create a Safety Measure.
For your example, a safety measure can be to change the inclination of chair or puchasing of new chair.
An in Additional information on Safety measures section, you can mention the name of a Person responsible for Check.
There are couple of reports :
S_ALN_01001342 - List Agents and Safety Measures for a Work Area
S_ALN_01001343 - List Agents and Safety Measures for a Person
But this reports do not disply the person resonsible for Safety measures. May be you can develop one.

Niraj
HI Niraj
I dont see safety measures option in
what I tried is created a protocol
assigned the questionaaire related to the protocol
(I tried to assign certain examination, here I am getting any error exmination type.
I am not finding a node to create examination type)
opened a medical service to person.
edit medical service( dont see any safety mesures tab)
Hello,
Questionnaire needs to be assigned to the work area. In work area header, in menu 'GoTo' , select Specifice Questionnaire. There you assign Questionnaire. On work area header you get a link for Safety Measure also.
Please see SAP help for assigning questionnaire to work area in :
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/8a/3b6e361b2fac0be10000009b38f839/frameset.htm
and go to Use of Questionnaires and Checklists.
Hope this information is helpful to you.

Hi Niraj
IHS work area , questionaaire assignment process is slightly different and not
taking the standard questionaaire list from question catalog.
I need to assign this questinaaire to around 10000 persons.
one way is to follow the protocol
or other way is to create a work area , assgin standard questionare to particuar questaionnaire
and assign that work area to the person.
here i have the difficulty in the assigning the standard questionaire. SAP help tells to assign an sigle question
Hello,
Of course Questionnaire can be assigned to the Work area.
Please see IMGactivity : Configure Questionnaire under Basic settings in IHS.
Here for Specify Assignment Categories IMG activity in OHS, you can define the Cat. as WAH, this makes it possible to assign Questionnaire to work area. It is same procedure what you followed for the Questionnaire creation in OHS only thing it has to be assigned to the work area instead Protocol.
To simplify assigning the Questionnaire to 1000 persons, through Org. mgmt., you can create a Org. Unit, that org. unit will have positions and to this positions persons are assigned. And this Org. Units are are assigned to Work area. This way when a Questionnaire is assigned to a Work area, it goes to the postions for that work area and finally in turn to the persons assigned to the positions. Pls. check the use of Tcode : PO10.
Organizational Management:
The system uses organizational units (object types) from Organizational Management to assign agents to persons in the basic data component. You must therefore make sure that positions, jobs, and tasks are created there.
Hope this information is useful to you.

Niraj

WAH --- Work area
When I open any Health Surveliance Protocal I can see big icon on the as 'Questionaaire'
where as I open work area this kind of option is not there
can you check your system
Hello,
With WAH available there, you can assign Questionnaire to the work area.
As I mentioned earlier, in work area header, in menu 'GoTo' , select Specifice Questionnaire. There you assign Questionnaire to the work area.
Please see SAP help for assigning questionnaire to work area in :
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/8a/3b6e361b2fac0be10000009b38f839/frameset.htm
and go to Use of Questionnaires and Checklists.

Hi
You can create equipments as Functional Location in Plant Maintenance module and then you can integerate them with Work areas using standard integeration functionality of workareas with functional locations
Or if you want specific within Work areas, then you can create new tab/fields in work area along with IHS Data using Class and Characterisitcs (Classification System)
Try the options as per your requirement.

Vikram
