issue with Memory release in opcserver ?

Hi experts,

I installed Pco 2.3 sp03 and able to read the tags but while reading the tags using pco query  the memory utilization in opc server is increasing but

after stop the pco query execution the memory is not releasing. Even after stop the agent instance in PCO also the memory is not releasing.

Does anyone has faced the same issue please share the solution?

Configuration:

PCO 2.3 sp03

windows XP 2008 R2

Matrikon  opc server.

You need to check in perfmonce tool if the memory increases?If not, then

problem might be located in OPC server.

Did you find any solution please update .

It is very urgent requirement for us.

And have tested with othe opc clients like Matrikon explorer.

Please update the any solution if you found.And we are using Experion PKS Server R301.1 (Build 301.1.002) opc server.

Similar short of issue we are facing, Pco 2.3 with Honeywell OPC DA server

Which version you have installed. We are also using the same Honeywell OPC DA server.

Any luck in sol please update.

We have created the oss message and sap recommended the pco sp03 version as sol and installed.

But no luck.

It is very urgent requirement pls share your experience on this.

Hi,

After further investigation I came to know that this is common software bug in OPC server. This can be

fixed only by vendor.

If you have any alternative sol please return to this thread.
