Is there any Geo Coordinates in S4HANA on-premise?

Dear All,

I have seen Geo Coordinates in incident management apps for an incident. Do you know about customizing for it? Additionally, Do materials, equipment and functional locations have Geo Coordinates for their own?

Dear Ali,

You can maintain GEO coordinates for each and every Location (Master Data) object.

You can do it via the app "Manage Locations" -> select Location -> navigate to tab "Address" -> section "Geographic Coordinates".

You can maintain address data (incl. geo coordinates) for Equipments and Functional Locations, if you have established a linkage between Location and the Equipment/Functional Location. (tab "Basic Information" -> section "Integration ot Plant Maintenance (PM)".

Hi maria.kelemen,

the app "Manage Location" is available for the business role SAP_BR_INDUSTRIAL_HYGIENIST for both, Incident Management, Risk Assessment, and Chemical Data Management. The manage location app is used to set up the master data for locations and/or integrate it with the PM Functional Locations or Equipments.

My current client stores the geo-coordinates in an equipment class/characteristics.
