Hi Experts,
I have been checking online for the longest time to see if there are any standard connectors between SAP IDM 8.0 and SAP MII 15.2 to enable access provisioning but ended up with no luck.
Can someone please help us?

Hi Mico,
There is a standard connector for Netweaver AS Java. I'm not familiar with MII, so I don't know if there are additional Provisioning requirements beyond the scope of what that connector can provide, but a quick glance at the security guide seems to indicate it is pretty standard AS Java.

Hi Mico,
as per this help portal link, it seems to be that the users are managed via Identity management (UME) available in the NWA. If MII is a NW based AS JAVA system, then as mentioned by Adam, using standard asJava connector, SAP IDM can provision to MII

Hi devaprakash.b and adam.champken
Just confirming that MII is on a "NW based AS JAVA system". So the standard AS Java connector should work. I am very familiar with MII including the use of the UME (User Management Engine) on the NW platform. So regarding MII, they are pretty much direct use of UME rather than anything specific to MII. I would suspect that some of the services available (which I have used via XML queries in MII) would provide what mico_0331 is interested in.
Take a look at this wonderful blog. Old, but still relevant.

Not all that familiar with IDM, but I would recommend seeing what RFC/BAPIs might exist. Also look for webservices provided by IDM.
I would think that IDM would be directly accessible from the UME portion of the NetWeaver platform upon which MII is installed. Perhaps you might want to add a NW tag or two to this question in order for someone more savvy in that technology to see this question.
