Dirty flags are an important mechanism in helping users quickly identify records that have not been altered from their original template. However, sometimes users are not as diligent as they should be and they can promote or release DIRs with a dirty flag which can prevent further versions or copies from being made.
Is there a way to limit users from releasing DIRs with a dirty flag?

Hi Neal,
you can use the Badi DOCUMENT_MAIN01~BEFORE_SAVE to check if the dirty flag is still set when releasing a document.

Gerhard
