Hello

the handling of the "UOM" topic in EHS/EHSM is not easy. Not only in CG02 there might be problems but in WWI as well.

Basically: I have seens many SAP EHS classic set up for which no "good bluie print" as used and therefore "compositions" can contain "strange" data.

Please we aware of the fact that under special conditions: you need not to list a "component" but still define "content" (e.g. 1 % etc.).

If you do a EHS classic set up from "scratch" you can profit from the "Best practise"... but if there are many people involved and the SAP system is having a long live time (> 10 years) and you are doing update/upgrades... additional strange topics might come "on the desc" (according to my experience here).

Keep in mind this: We have the SAP EHS classic set up and the "Poison center topic" is different as this solution s not delivered by SAP.

IF you are using content and you are aligned to SAP standard and you use the "poison center" set up (standard): you should not get in trouble. But this is not often the case. Somehow there is always some "small" difference

Hello Rudry,

That is strange! A composition should not permit the use of weight per volume as an UoM. Please make sure the property is set up correctly.

Best,

Hallo Vyas ,

You can check in Composition it should be w/w or v/v , check which data is input to run PCN mostly this kind of UoM there in Composition only.
