Internal Error in Specification workbench ( CG02)

Hi All,

We had raised an OSS message for an Internal error we were getting in the t code CG02 while entering the data for chemical properties.Below mentioned is the error message.

Internal program error; (SAPLC1AX RMWBPWB0 0 charact.-descr. not found)

SAP has asked us to refer the Note: 1146700 and adopt method 2 to fix the issue.Method 2 steps as in the Note 1146700 mentioned below.

Method 2: Call transaction SCC1 with a user-defined object list.

Prerequisites:

This is recommended if you have already made modifications to EH&S objects that are in the object list EHS_COMM24.

In your target client, the protection against the client copy is not activated.

Proceed as follows:

On the source client, create your own object list in which you specify the missing classes, characteristics and so on, that is, the complete delta. Call transaction SCC1 on your target client, specify 000 as the source client and specify the name of the last object list you created as the transport request.

Note that the user who executes this activity must have authorization for the client copy because the same functions (restricted to objects in your object list) are executed in this activity. The object list must be created once and can then be used for all clients.

Please can you let us know how do we adopt method 2 to fix the internal error issue.

Please be more specific:
Which part of the OSS response / OSS Note did you not understand?

Basically what is wrong in you system is:
You are missing some SAP EH&S class and characteristic definition in your client xxx (In your case it seems to be the object description).

However these classes and characteristics are in client 000.

The object list EHS_COMM24 contains all these classes and characteristics and can be used to bring them into your client xxx via the methods described in the OSS Notes - or see SAP help.

HOWEVER: If you have modified SAP EH&S Classes (SAP_EHS*) or characteristics they will be overwritten with the default delivery from client 000 if you use object list EHS_COMM24. Therefore - if you have modified classes or characteristics - you need to create your own object list containing only the classes and characteristics for which you get an error in CG02.
