Integration possibility between PPM Portfolio Item and Statistical WBS or Internal Order

Dear Community members,

We are seeking the possibility of posting statistical cost into statistical WBS or Internal Order and integrating them with PPM items so that we can continue posting real cost to cost centers.

I found the below similar post from 6 years ago, but I see mixed answers. One says it is possible to set such integration in standard and the other say BADI "RPM_FICO_INTF" is required. (Ref: https://answers.sap.com/questions/12084844/data-transfer-with-ppm-for-statistical-wbs-in-ps.html)

Does anyone know which one is true?

Note added on Oct 4th: At least I learned that integration with statistical WBS or IO is not supported in standard, so I'd appreciate if anyone could share an experience with the mentioned BADI.
