Integration of stock movement ME-ERP with Auto Change WIP

Hi

We would like to use Auto Change WIP, the new function in MES (we use MES 15.1.1.7)

I noticed, that with this activity MES does not execute a stock movement 261. Only after an additional assembly of the same material, the stock movement 261 is sent to the ERP.

Is there a way, to avoid the additional booking, like for instance Auto Assembly or how is the function designed?

Hi,

I doubt it is a new feature because I do see it in 15.0 and I do not see any mention of it in Release Notes articles of ME 15.1 online help. And if so, then I'm pretty sure that there was no intention to implement collaboration with ERP for this feature. That means it was meant for internal usage of SAP ME, without integration with ERP.
