Integration between IHS Questionnaires and PM Orders

Hi Gurus,

I need to get more info regarding the handling of questionnaires and their evaluation in the IHS.

  1. In my scenario it would be best to have questionnaires proposed to the user (automatically via standard?) in preparation of a Maintenance Order (SAP PM) created on a Functional Location linked to a Work Area --> is it possibile from standard?
  2. The user should be able to complete the questionnaire by answering the questions asked and the results should be able to remain viewable and linked to the Work Area, to the Functional Locations and to the Maintenance Order at the same time (like a triple key) --> is it possibile from standard?
  3. This Questionnaire should remain in a state that also allows a second user to answer again in case of new PM Order on the same Functional Location.

It seems that is not possible, as standard, to mantain at the same time Questionnaires related to this 3 object and reusable many times.

Check http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ehs27b/helpdata/en/7d/47e8c3c05411d4b6500004ac160be0/frameset.htm the third paragraph of the Process Flow

Any suggestion?

Hope I was clear.

Thanks in advance!!

Can you share any additional details on this use case? I know many customers have safety-related inspections, such as a fire extinguisher inspection, that is question based. And as Kamal suggests, many do use plant maintenance to create those checklists. Is this the type of use case that you are dealing with?

HI Marco,

Your Assumtion is correct. This is not possible in standard SAP, to use SAP IHS questionnarire in PM orders.

These questionnaire meant to carry out the risk assessment process, work area wise. Weightages also plays big role to assess the risk in work area leavel. whwere we have to give more weightage for some of the questions.

For PM orders you can use the PRT's (Production resource tools) > Documents, with work instructions (or) questionnaire. This is very simple way of dealing with plant maintenance orders, by setting up the DMS. As per your requirement, you can resue the same documents in PM orders, by picking up (or Assigning the same document no.
