Integrate vendor master from S4 to teamcenter

Background:

We are planning to implement S4 PCE as our ERP system and Teamcenter as our PLM system. In order to keep the integrity of the vendor master, we need to integrate S4 with Teamcenter as the destination to sync vendor master.

Existing solution:

According to our consultant's proposal, it is possible to generate an file carrying vendor master from S4 and transport it to Teamcenter using SFTP, then Teamcenter will further read and process the file to CRUD vendor master, Which seems a totally customizing solution.

Any better out-of-box solution?

As we all know that we have lots of out-of-box interface from SAP to expose vendor master for other system comsumption. Or may be any webhook interface to set up in teamcenter.

So I would appreciate it if someone can provide more practice on how can we implement this integration scenario, any share experience or discussion are warmly welcome!!!!🥰
