Installation of MRSS V1000 on ECC or NW?

Is it mandatory to have NetWeaver system to install MRSS add-on?

MRS Add-on has MRSS, MRSS_NW and MRSSUI components.

To install MRS Add-on in our landscape where do I install MRSS component? In ECC or in NW?

Should we have two separate system one for ERP and one for NetWeaver to install MRSS add-on or could we have both ERP & NW in a single system?

At us in system ERP the add-on МРSS1000 is installed, and system HCM at us the old version ERP can install only the add-on MRSS900. Whether probably integration between systems ERP and HCM ERP. With not appropriate versions of add-on MRSS.

MRSS in system HCM is necessary to obtain information on personnel in system ERP.
