Installation cProjects on a own server? and other cProjects questions

Hi Gurus,

We want to start with cProjects and using RPM.

We are in a early phase on want to clarify the following questions:

-We have a ERP ECC 6.0 with no EHP

-Is it possible to install cProjects on the ERP system as Add On? Or is it better

to install cProjects on a own server?

-What is the newest version of cProjects and RPM?

-Is there any disadvantage if we do not have a EHP?

-Can we use all functionalities, even we have no EHP?

Hi Dieter,

newest version is "SAP Portfolio and Project Management 5.0" (including former cProjects + RPM).

You find a lot of information in the Master Guide (SAP Service Marketplace -> Release & Upgrade Info -> Installation & Upgrade Guides -> SAP PLM -> using SAP Portfolio and Project Management 5.0)

You can install SAP Portfolio and Project Management as add-on. As far as I recall you need ERP EhP5. For standalone installation you need NW 7.0 EhP2 / EhP3.
