Inspection Result recording with Different UoM

Hi

I would like to know below scenario.

Scenario :

Basic Unit of Measure - "Feet" vs Unit of Issue - "Feet" vs Purchase Unit of measure - "Feet" vs Inspection Unit of Measure -"Inches"

Can I make the inspection & do result recording alone in "inches".

Hi Vighnesh,

if the results are to be mentioned from the Catalog then the answer is no , if the results are just Accepted / Rejected, then create a Quantitative Characteristics with the Description similar to Qualitative Characteristics, but in the Control indicator remove the " Record Measured Value" check box , in this way a Quantitative MIC can behave as a Qualitative one.

Yes it is possible, in the MIC just mention the Unit of measurement different from what is the base unit of measure
