Initiative external ID is not generated

Gentlemen,

We have an issue with Initiative External ID generation in PPM 5.0.

If ID isn't entered by user, system supposed to generate it automatically, but it doesn't happen.

When I create an initiative and press 'SAVE', I get an error - "Number Missing".

Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? I disabled all custom code, but it didn't help.

Hi,

Make sure that the external id for initiative is not set as mandatory.

Hello,

As standard, it should not ask for external id.

Please check again if there is any custom development.

Additionally check how the system is behaving if the initiatives are uploaded via RPM_DX_INITIATIVE transaction.
