Does anyone have an example template to use the Online inheritance functionality of SAP (EHS) OCC? The examples given in the manual specify Source OR Target specifications. We tried various permutations and combinations but something seems incorrect. The attachment gives some of the examples we tried. cusersnskamath3-31-2020-6-44-30-pm.png

Hello skamath99
Please send the error OCC log , which you got while loading in online. Try to upload 2 to 3 specification first then if it is ok , go with bulk. it will be easy way to find the error.
Your file seems to be ok.

Hello
as you know. we have a quite good document in place (from SAP) discussing OCC. The load of an "inheritance" was not discussed yet here using OCC.
Question 1. do you get a warning/error message during load?
Question 2: do you have a good understanding regarding the "basic design of inheritance"?
According to the SAP documentation.. (chapter 2.2.2.7.5) you need only these columns:
Templategroup, Template, Subid
In your EXCEL file
Make your load file may be "simpler". You should only load for one specification for the first run. According to SAP documentation: You can do the load per "target" substance or per "source" substance
If this does not help: Use a "break point" in the corresponding function modules as used in this process and try to identfy why the "booking" in SAP EHS is not working; might be time consuming but is an option
