Hi SAP Community,
I am experiencing an issue with the Dangerous Goods status message in our SAP S/4HANA system. When creating a sales order, the system displays the status as “OK - No Dangerous Goods; Not Relevant” for a specific finished goods DG material that is classified as Dangerous Goods. The correct status message should be “OK - Transport Allowed.”
In our product compliance and DG classification settings, all modes of transport are allowed for all compliance requirements. However, the system is not reflecting this correctly.
Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Ajit Dude

Hello
please describe: which S/4 HANA versio you are using. An "on prem" version (and if yes: which one) or a "cloud version"?
The answer to this question could help to provide good feedback to you

Hi Ajit,
I have unfortunately no further idea what could be missing/wrong, because this status in the Sales Order you should only get for Products which are classified as "No Dangerous Goods" or for Products which are set in the Product Master to "Compliance Relevant" = "No".
I would suggest you set up a ticket, so that the support can look on your system.
Best Regards,
Marianne

Hi Ajit,
ok, if the field "product compliance" is set to "yes" and the business feature "Dangerous Goods in the Value Chain" is aktive, and your issue still persists, you might want to check your Sales Document Type. We are not supporting all Sales Document Types. Please check the following IMG table in addition:
IMG: Product Compliance --> Integration --> Specify Excluded Document Types for Integration
Please be aware, not all Sales Document Types (end-to end processes) are supported by the Dangerous Goods solution, therefore those are excluded.
Another issue could be that you might be testing with a Product from the Best Practice Content of SDS or PMA, with those you cannot test the DG functionality.
Best Regards,
Marianne Sigmund

Hi Marianne,
Thank you for your response. I have already set the product master to "Compliance Relevant" = "yes". Additionally, I have checked the configuration for our on-premises system:
Activated the business feature "Dangerous Goods Integration into Value Chain" in the IMG under Product Compliance --> Integration.
These settings have already been applied, but the issue persists. Could there be another setting or configuration that I might be missing?
Best regards,
Ajit

Hi Ajit,
you need to check the following 2 things:
- is your product in the product master set to "Compliance Relevant" = "yes". If not, set it to "yes".
If the product master ist set to "Compliance Relevant" = "yes", please check the configuration:
- S/4HANA Private Cloud: IMG: Product Compliance --> Integration --> Activate Business Features for Product: Set Business Feature "Dangerous Goods Integration into Value Chain"
- S/4HANA Public Cloud: Activate Scope Item 3G8 "Dangerous Goods in the Value Chain".
Best Regards,
Marianne
