Hi!
When I execute the Change Log (RC1_CHANGE_DOCS_DISPLAY) I get the icon whose reference means "Incorrect Context" to some fields of some specifications.
Does anybody knows what that means and if I´m missing any configuration not to get that message?
Thank you,
Eugenia

Dear Eugenia,
may be close this thread and go on with discussion in:

In any case: if you have a good understanding about the tables in EH&S (ESTRH, ESTRi, ESTDU, ESTVH, ESTVA) you can analyse the topic as well on table basis. There are some "buts":
You need to understand that according to my experience that if you e.g. create a absolutely new specification you will find no change log; further on as explained in the thread mentioned: I have no experience with RC1_CHANE_DOCS_DISPLAY if maintenance has been doen using a "change number" but I would have some "doubt" that the analysis of changes docs would be an "easy" job if you have used change numbers during maintenance. In any case: the report shows you "technical" informations (which table is effected (ESVTH) which renc/recnroot is effected etc.) therefore this information is a further starting point for analysis. This "no context" topic comes up often.
But once again there is a "but": in special circumstances it is allowed to "delete" a specificition. In this case you have "no" chance in using CG02 to analys change logs but you need to use the report (but you need to remember the spec key which hase been deleted or you need to go deep by using ESTRH to get the specification key).
The report
is therefore no "end user" tool but really a "technical" tool and even experienced EH&S guys have sometimes problems with the result (and if you go deep: you will need a high amount of time to analyse what was wrong)
By the way: please check OSS marketplace, The APIs/BAPIs etc. of EH&S had errors in the past (I don't know whih SAP release you are using) and there fore such situations as you are describing could happen as well.
C.B.
