Dear All
How to search incidents for a particular incidnet group ?
for e.g, Safety Coordinator wants to know how many incidents have happened in Q1 (01Jan2012 to 31Mar2012), which are having "Release" as a Incident group.
Thanks and Regards.

Hi Mandar,
One complication with the delivered BEx reporting is that the Groups are not included as variables; they have their own unique Inofcubes (0EHH_C05 in the case of Releases). This present a few problems as Group is a key configuration that drives downstream field and screen behavior as well as investigation template determination so it seems this field should have been given more flexibility in the delivered reporting.
1. Custom Group configurations, ie. Security, require custom reports/report enhancement.
2. The delivered queries do not allow for a cross group list or summary reporting; ie. show me all release, injury and asset damage incidents occurring between June 2012 and July 2012. If you want a report to span the groups you must develop it.
Quarterly reporting is delivered as a free characteristic and is displayed as "20124" for Quarter 4, 2012.
Regards,
Scott

If I understand your question correctly, the answer is yes there are such reports. The BEx reports that ship standard with the product contain multi-dimensional incident reports and they include for example
- injury/illnesses
- releases
- involved assets
- violations
Each of these reports has a number of fields available as "free characteristics" so the user can build their own variant of the report. For your example, simply select the report called "releases" and then restrict the dates to the desired time interval.
If a customer is using Business Objects analytics, the cubes are re-usable there.

Hi Mandar,
I believe there is no standard report to generate incidents based on Incident group. We had to develop a custom report to have this incident group on selection screen.
We dont use any analytical reporting from BW, so i am writing this from core SAP perspective.
