Hi All,
Can anyone suggest where the attachments are stored in EHSM system by default. Is it stored in Open Text server.
If we want to store in Open Text server what are the processes involved ?
Please throw some lights.

Please always start with the on-line help. For the component extension for SAP EHS Management, it would be here
"This function enables you to use the Content Management Service to store documents, such as attachments and generated PDF reports, in SAP EHS Management
. You can define the storage location for these documents, for example, in the database or in an external content server."
Using OpenText would fall under "or in an external content server"

Hi,
Technically all documents are storing in Content Server through DMS cross application area.
Open text is other way to store, please go through this pdf, which will give you in depth details

Hi Prabaharan,
please do not confuse the way SAP EHSM component extension attachments are stored with the ones of SAP EHSM as part of ERP.
Within EHSM as part of ERP: Documents are stored in SAP document management systems (DMS), component CA-DMS.
Within the "new" application (EHSM component extension): Documents are stored through the Content Management Service of the Netweaver Knowlededge Management, component BC-SRV-KPR-CMS.
Both techniques are fundamentally different, so the integration scenarios need to be carefully analyzed. Per default settings, no attachments are stored in Opentext. Per standard delivery customizing attachements are stored only in DB tables.
I have seen some interesting information about the Opentext integration, maybe you did already see this SAP Extended ECM for SAP EHSM (Environment, Health, and Safety Manage…
