Incident Check: You cannot close the incident; complete task "Action"

Experts,

I have created Organizational Task with Sub type -Procedure and start the process. Now while attempt to close this incident, receiving an error - Incident Check: You cannot close the incident; complete task "Action ID-1 first" I am unable to  see any option to close such organization task anywhere in Tasks menu. Can you help here with any inputs ?

Hello Santosh,

You can implement SAP Note 1812252 , this note should help you with the issue.

Please also note that the recommended way to cancel an Incident Action is to use tha Cancel Process button on the Tasks tab and not the Cancel Process button of the Process Status view.

Thanks Camila for response. The mentioned SAP note 1812252 is not relevant as system is on higher version. Here issue is , I am not able to change the status of organization task- training. You may check the image I attached here.

Dear Santosh,

You cannot close an Incident with out closing Task. Please complete the task and try closing the incident, if i understood your issue correctly.
