Hi All
I have try to find out the difference between these two. I could not find much difference.
seconldly,
I created a few incident logs and CBIH89 - Transfer Data from Injury/Illness Log .
I dont see any data getting transfered.
Request clarification before answering.
Dear Rama
1) Injury Illness log is created by physician/occupational health person who does treatment or responsible for return to work. it is used to manage all injury/illness details of person affected in incident so that he returns to work at the earliest.
if you see Accident log and Illness log a principaly same but only differ who is entering into the system.
2) Please note that the data can be transferred from Illness log to accident log and not viceversa

Hi Gajesh
I am sure SAP must have come with two differnent options accindent and injury for some reasons.
I am exploring on that.
2) I tried to transfer the data from injury to accident only.
though there are plenty of injury etries in the system, not single one is coming in the log for transfer
Cheers
Rama
Hello Rama,
The difference between injury / illness log and Inc / Acc log is :
Injuty / Illness log helps you to enter and manage data in the system for any in-company medical treatment. This includes first aid in the event of accidents or minor injuries, treatment of old injuries, or treatment of persons who feel unwell.
If this injury / illness is due to some inc / Acc happened in your company, you need to record the incident / accident also, is done in Incidet / Accident log.
Incident / Accident log supports you with the recording and processing of work-related events. It allows you to comply with the requirements of national and international law. The term u201Ceventu201D refers to everything you are required to record or wish to record: ranging from personal injuries and damage to property to accidents and near misses.
And when you transfer Injury / Illness log to Incident / Accident log, details about Event date and time, injury to a person and some treatment details are only gets transfered. With Incident / Accident log, you can then do investigation of the incident and find root cause analysis for stopping the occurence of such type of Inident / Accident, details of the injry etc.
Injury / Illness log is transfered to Incident / Accident log, only for the injuty / Illness log created with those Injury / Illness Log entry type for which Contol indicator is set as 2. This is done in customizing under EHS-> Occupational Health -> Injury / Illness log - > Basic settings -> Specify Injury / Illness Log Entry type. Select suitable Log entry type here and go to details and maintian the value as 2 for Transf. control. So now whenever any injury / Illness log is created with this log entry type, you will be able to transfer the same using tcode :CBIH89.
Hope this clarifies all your doubts.

Niraj
Hi
I have changed the log type to 2.
now I am unable to make entries to injury log.
I get the following error,
"Error occurred during check of time details; correct your entries"
I changed the time to all possible values, however the error is not going.
secondly where do you link any
company processes, Laws (local or international) to the injury and accident log.
secondly where do you link any
company processes, Laws (local or international) to the injury and accident log
For your second question, do you want to link compant processes, laws etc in form of document. If yes, then you can use Document Management System functionality to attach documents with specific incidents.
Regards
Vikram
Hello Rama,
Unfortunately I have not seen the error which you have menioned, but can you please check the values maintained for the fields 'Time aid given" and 'Time of Event'?
Time of event should be earlier then Time of aid given.
Regrding linking company processes laws, if those are documents to be linked to Incident / Accident, what Vikram has explained, holds true.
Reagrds,
Niraj
read the sap help
