In SAP Public cloud -At the time of Asset scrap equipment status not changing to "Deleted"

In SAP Public Cloud, I am using the serial number profile for Asset procurement and also configured to auto creation of Equipment at the time of Asset GRN but when scrapping the associated Asset then the Equipment status not changing to "Deleted"

Can anyone help me with the possible reason and also please suggest a workaround if this functionality is not available in Public cloud

In S/4HANA Public Cloud, Asset integration with Equipment is not supported.
