In SAP ME User management engine, Can we automate the user management process ?

In SAP ME and MII User management engine,

Can we automate the process of user / roles / authorization creation, change, delete over the bots ? what all things i need to consider while achieving this seamless process ?

where can i get all the required BAPI ?

how can i do this process with API ?

Please need help

Aditya,

You would really need to read all the related documentation. Have you tried googling "SAP UME API" or something similar? The NW UME can be configured to run stand alone as well as integrated with security management engines like AD and even whatever ERP uses so it really depends on the specific setup you are dealing with. I think that ME also has some bespoke functionality regarding security in addition to using the UME. Anyway you probably need to just dig into the documentation to see what options are available or work with someone who has.

UME (User Management Engine), which is a NetWeaver functionality, can be integrated with Active Directory and used essentially as a pass through entity. Details are left as an exercise for the student.

I am aware there is UME available, which serves the purpose of user management manually. but to fully automate this process using bots / chat bots what all i would need,

1. specified BAPI strings ? based on the parameters i need to pass and execute

2. API ? i am not so familiar with this method.

Can you please elaborate further and drill down,
