implementing workflow for Incident management

Hi Experts,

In my organization, we are just implementing the incident management of EHS component.

In regards of workflow implementation, I have below queries.

1. I want incident manager should be notified for further action whenever any incident gets recorded into the system with basic information, so can I bind any workflow here? if yes then what are the steps I need to follow.
2. Incident manager once review the Incident and assign the investigation lead then here again workflow should be started so that investigator gets notified automatically and hence all the corrective actions(Tasks) can also be handled through the workflow.

main intention is, we would like to implement the workflow wherever applicable for the incident management end to end process.

I am in very early stage so please suggest me if anything I am missing here.

Hello Jagesh,

both workflows you are mentioning are part of SAP's standard delivery of SAP EHS Mangement 6.0 - they are actually there since 1.0.

There is no need to create an own workflow, rather than to customize the workflow according to your needs, e.g. assign the rlevant persons who should receive the workflow.
