IHS agent types-Only EHS-IHS" indicator ?

Hi Experts,

In IHS,we have a requirement to set up the risk hazard agents for fire,air,noise,radiation etc.

In the standard system, the specification type - EXPO_NOI - for noise is available which is assigned to specification category - HAZARD.I could not find exact specification types for air and radiation. I may have to create them.

We don't want to use specification management and all the measurement management data from the measuring devices could be used to trigger risks.Since there is no linkage with the specification management planned,this agents types have been set up with the "Only EHS-IHS" indicator as "Yes". Additionally, In Assign Functions to Agent Types, I have assigned following function modules,as per the documentation.

Check function agent - CBIH_LB47_TEMPLATE_CHECK

F4 function help - CBIH_LB47_TEMPLATE_F4

Description function - CBIH_LB47_TEMPLATE_NAME

However,I am still not getting any agents in the noise agent -EXPO_NOI. Is something still missing?

We have no plan to use wwi and implementing only ihs without incidence/accident mngt.

Hello Milind,

Here's what I understand from your post and my reply -

i) Here you wanted to create Specification Types for capturing Air, Fire, Noise and Radiation

ii) Stanadrad system already has Noise - specification Type (EXPO_NOI)

iii) Now you need to create Air, Fire and Radiation specification types for using only in IH&S

iv) You create these specification types in customization and assigned the function module to search and assign specifications during end user busisness process

v) You need to create specification types like - EXPO-AIR, EXPO-Radition

vi) Assign them to a specification category like - HAZARD

vii) Assign them appropriate property tree, using which you would be entering the property tree.

vii) For accomplishing above activities please access Specify Agent type under Risk Assessment

You are right that I need to create the specification types for nonstandard risks like EXPO-AIR, EXPO-Radition and then assign them to a specification category like - HAZARD.

However my main problem is that,all these risk hazards fire,air,noise,radiation etc.don't use specifications.

We have wwi and specification management setup but only for recipe management.There is no component of ehs implemented other than this.

Since we are implementing only ihs without accident management at this time,the main focus is on risk and measurement

management.Thus setting up the specifications for risk hazards fire,air,noise,radiation is not planned.

Hello Milind,

If this is the case - the standard system can assign you non Specification data only for Task (SAP HR) or Materials (SAP MM)

You need to create materials / tasks before accessing them.

My opinion would be It would be difficult to manage Measurement Management without maintaining Measurement method information in the standard chracteristics - Since system would be accessign this information for measurement project creation. I understand you must be doing development.

SImilary I understand all your risk agents are either - Materials or Tasks, otherwise you would be modifying the existing function module to suit to your requirements.

For Risk Assessment - you need to maintain analysis methods, amount categories - under specify measurement items
