Identifying Event Logger entries in NetWeaver logs

Hi Guys,

I've looked around in the forums for an answer to this question without any success.

How can I label my Event Logger entries in NW log file?

When I run filters for xMII in the NW log files I get a whole lot of results, I was hoping I could filter on Event Logger data.

How can I retrieve my custom event logger entries?

Thanks,

Martin Provost

Hi Christian,

I added the filter for 'UserEvent' and no results are generated.

In my EventLogger the source of the Configuration Object is set to 'UserEvent'.

Perhaps you can guide to some other solution.

Regards,

Martin

Either there are no messages in the log, the loggin level is set to low, or there is a bug in the version of MII you are using.

I couldn't find a sap note.

When you say 'loggin level set too low' is that on the NW side or in the object configuration of the Event Logger action block?

On the netweaver side.
