This fields semantic is 'marked for deletion' - record is logically deleted - but not physically (yet).

How to logically delete the equipment ?
This is de-facto realised via a corresponding status (DLFL - I0076) on the object. See IE02 - Menue 'Equipment - Functions - Deletion flag - Set/Reset'
