How to perform material stock correction in DMC?

Hello,

Could you support me and give some advice, how to correctly perform material stock correction in DM?

For scenarios :

A) materials manage by EWM integration

B) materials manage by MM?

Hi, Magdalena,

In the material stock integration, EWM and ERP system will always be the leading system. It means every time, the stock quantity change in EWM/IM will be synchronized to DM stock.

In general, if you find the stock quantity is not consistent, or the stock quantity in EWM/IM is not correct, you can trigger some activities which will cause the stock quantity change in EWM/IM, then the stock change notifications will send to DM and the stock in DM will be updated to keep consistent.

If you have special case on the wrong stock quantity, please give us more detail, we can analyze it separately.

You can check about The different Inventory Management Modes in SAP Digital Manufacturing in this blog post and perhaps explore Consolidated Mode, which can drastically improve your local inventory handling in DM. Or directly check Inventory Management Mode.

To adjust DM Floor Stock, you can check Floor Stock Return/Scrap.
