How to make Resource field functioning in SAP PPM (Projects)

We have created a Project in SAP Project Management ,Need to add Resources( internal users) to Tasks created in Projects.

For us Resource field is greyed out. To add Resource to Task in Projects should we create Business Partner. How to create Business Partner in S4 Hana SAP projects? What are the prerequisites ?

Hello,

To my knowledge, in S/4 the business partner is created automatically from the employee master. You definitely need a business partner (role employee) in order to staff it in your PPM project. first create a project role, then staff it with the business partner, and then go to the task do the assignment there.
